Cat the Vet

Cat is a British small animal vet spreading the word about good pet health care and responsible ownership. As an animal advocate, Guinea Pig fan, and lover of Labradors we are delighted to have her on-board.

Cat says ‘I am absolutely delighted to be an ambassador for the National School Dogs Alliance and Kids Around Dogs. The value of the relationships children can develop with dogs cannot be underestimated.  The joy, companionship and confidence they can help instil in our young people is wonderful but it is a privilege we should never take for granted.

 As much as our dogs give us, we must always ensure that their welfare and needs are considered and met, particularly when they are interacting with children.  We must also ensure both the kids and the adults in-charge are well educated in dog-centric handling and behaviour and well versed in their body language communication.

 

These organisations are wonderful at delivering all these things and ensuring these incredible experiences and bonds are able to grow and thrive in a safe and mutually beneficial environment.’
