Mrs Odette Nicholas
I have always loved animals and from a young age knocked neighbours doors to walk their dogs until my parents finally got our first dog. From then I have always had a dog. When I became a primary school teacher I introduced animals, such as rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs into the classroom with many other visiting animals to teacher safety and care.
Being local to a dog assisted school initiative, I eagerly took part in a research project and trained my own dog, Jade. From here my wonderful journey of dogs in schools begun.
