Sarah Wilkinson

Sarah Wilkinson is the founder of Cŵn Clyfar, with five years of experience as a dog trainer and behaviour consultant. As a qualified teacher and early years practitioner, she helps families develop rewarding relationships with their dogs through engaging training games. Her journey began with her own dogs, inspiring her to study with Absolute Dogs, completing Pro Dog Trainer, Pro Dog Trainer Geek and Pro Dog Trainer Genius Courses.

Sarah holds a Master of Pharmacology from the University of Bath and an MPhil from the University of Edinburgh, showcasing her diverse academic background. Her passion lies in helping families understand dog body language to prevent bites and rehoming. She provides bilingual talks to schools and community groups, ensuring accessibility and understanding.

As a Kids Around Dogs Approved Professional, Sarah stays updated through monthly webinars and attends school talks with her cocker spaniel, Ash. Her volunteer work at Many Tears and Lizzie’s Barn Sanctuary emphasizes treating dogs as individuals to find suitable homes.

Sarah is also a certified Dog Behaviour Consultant (BCCS with distinction) and a member of the Pet Professional Network. As a mother of three and owner of four dogs, she understands busy family lives and focuses on delivering support in a fun and flexible manner.
