Dogs as Psychological Assets
“Dogs as psychological assets” refers to the significant psychological benefits that dogs provide to their owners, particularly through non-judgement, emotional support, love, and companionship. This concept highlights how dogs enhance their owners’ wellbeing by offering meaning, engagement, and pleasure, akin to the psychological intimacy usually attributed to human relationships. These benefits are valuable to all individuals, including those who are socially and economically successful, contributing to their overall happiness and self-actualization, despite their busy lives.
Savouring

Mindfulness
Using our senses to be more aware of positive and negative emotions, non-judgementally, in the present moment.
‘Walk Talk Savour’™ Practice
Using movement, solution-focused coaching, and savouring to improve wellbeing.
